DYMOCKS APRIL STAFF PICK & MOTHER’S DAY RECOMMENDATIONS

By KarryOn on May 6, 2014

Check out the Dymocks staff pick for April and the top gifts for mum this Mother’s Day.

Dymocks Staff Pick: Delicious Days in Paris
The number one bestselling travel title for Dymocks and our pick for April is, Delicious Days in Paris, a delightful new release that crosses over the travel and cooking genres as it explores the best walking tours to discover Parisian culture and food. I don’t know about you but the title alone makes me weak at the knees, and the picture of the croissant on the cover increases the swoon factor as do the sumptuous photos of Paris throughout. No matter how many books one has to armchair travel to Paris I always need the latest. The author and Francophile Jane Paech picks the best Cafes and Patisserie in Paris as she takes you on fourteen themed walks. The chocolate walk sounds irresistible! A wonderful gift for friends and family travelling to Paris or to enable some delightful daydreams this part travel memoir, cooking, guide book should be the second thing you pack after your passport when planning your trip to the city of love and light.

This month’s staff pick was chosen by Sophie Higgins, the Dymocks National Buying Manager

We are already owners of a copy of “Delicious Days….”, purchased on spec after reading a note in the Virgin Australia magazine. It will probably cost us dearly. Today we had a beautiful lunch at Les Tablettes de Jean-Louis Nomicos. An excellent recommendation.
